Renewing is optional, and discounted

A year of further updates costs half the list price at the time you renew, not half of what you originally paid.

Launch buyers get their first renewal at half again. Once, not every year.

If you never buy

PopAgent stays usable. Sessions are unlimited, and the last 7 days of them stay fully interactive and searchable. Older sessions turn read-only: you can read, export and copy them, and nothing is ever deleted. Buy at any point and all of them become interactive again.

Is this a subscription?

No. You buy PopAgent once and it is yours. The purchase includes 1 year of feature updates. After that you can pay again for another year of updates if you want them, and nothing happens if you do not.

What happens if I never renew?

PopAgent keeps working, with every feature you already have and every session you have ever run. You stop receiving new features and support. Nothing is taken away and nothing is locked.

What does renewing cost?

A further year of updates costs 50% off the list price at the time you renew, not off what you paid. If you bought at the launch price your first renewal is half that again. That one is a one-off, not a permanent rate.

Do I pay for the AI usage too?

Yes, but not to us. PopAgent uses your own API key or your existing subscription, and your provider bills you directly for what you use. We never resell tokens or take a cut, and the price of PopAgent does not include any model usage.

What can I do without buying?

Run PopAgent as much as you like. Sessions are unlimited and so is usage, because you are paying your own provider for it. Your most recent 7 days of sessions stay fully interactive and searchable. Older ones become read-only: still there, still readable, exportable and copyable, just not continued.

A session I used today went read-only. Why?

The 7 days run from when a session was created, not from when you last touched it. A long-running session reaches the end of its window even if you use it daily — which is exactly the case a licence is for. Buying makes every session interactive again, including that one.

Can I try it first?

Every paid feature is open for 14 days, with no card. When the trial ends you get 3 more days before the free tier's window starts applying, so nothing you built during the trial locks the moment it expires.

Can I get a refund?

Within 14 days of buying, for any reason or none. Write to us and we refund it.

How many Macs does a licence cover?

By tier, counted in Macs: Basic 1, Pro 2, Team 5. Most people want Pro: a desktop and a laptop.

Can I move a licence to another Mac?

Yes, as often as you need. Deactivate it on the old Mac and activate the new one; there is no limit on how many times. A licence covers a number of Macs at the same time, not a fixed set of Macs, so replacing a machine or handing one to someone else costs you nothing.
